a little weeping, now; half because I have to wake up at 9am for FEKKING graduation rehearsal and half because I love Mr. Zamansky and Mr. Granovskiy, and they were easily the best part of Stuyvesant for me. Them and theater.
met the family today at a small graduation 'luncheon'...ate delicious food and got toasted/toasted others with champagne, which was a little funny, (it only being noon). We both drank a bit too much...there was a cake which inexplicably had both our names on it. Now that's a friendly group of people---inscribe your name in frosting before they meet you. I like them, especially Dennis---who really should get back in that book he belongs in...I love meeting fictional characters in real life, they're so much more interesting than real people. And the baby, Allistaire, he was...so edible.
I left a little early to make it to see 'Hecuba' at BAM which was an interesting show. Really bad nosebleed seat to see it...and sadness that the seat next to me was empty, both my father and my friend unable to join me because it was father's day. Funny yes?...Hecuba had Vanessa Redgrave as...Aganemnon! No stupids, she was Hecuba. :::laughs hysterically at how funny this is, looks at clock, weeps::: she was damn good too. Especially her hands and voice. When I'm 80...oh to be a performer like that.
:::weeps. meeps. hands you cupfulls of sheeps:::
what you don't want sheeps? EAT THAT SHEEP YOU NASTY B---
Dana's barbeque, and Josh's and the sixteen million other graduation parties coming up. Looking foward, looking foward. |
